Brussels sprouts "Red".
A novelty purple-red sprout, adding a touch of colour to your plate. Matures over a long period, and has a milder, nuttier flavour than standard green types.
The colour develops great intensity after a hard frost and is retained when the sprouts are cooked, steamed or microwaved.
It is characterized by excellent taste and dietary qualities.
Mid-early (130-140 days) variety. The plant is medium. The leaf is a large, medium bubble, purple-green. Heads of medium size, ellipsoid, dark green with strong anthocyanin, dense, weighing 10-12 g. Yield 1.2-1.8 kg/m2.
The value of the variety: cold resistance, friendly crop formation, keeping quality and transportability. It has high dietary and immunostimulating properties due to the presence of easily digestible proteins, vitamins of groups B and C and microelements.
Recommended for cooking various side dishes, soups and freezing.
Growing conditions.
Sowing seeds to a depth of 1.5-2 cm. At the optimum temperature of +17 +20 °C shoots appears on the 7-12th day. The optimum temperature for growing seedlings is +15 +18 °C. The culture is cold-resistant, light and moisture-loving. Placed in open areas with fertile soil.
